IP is also known as proxy server. It is an important security function that acts as a firewall.
Figuratively speaking, the proxy server is a network information transfer station, it is a server between the browser and the web server, with it, the Request signal will be sent to the proxy server first, and the proxy server will retrieve the information required by the browser and transmit it to your browser. IN DAILY LIFE, WE USE IP PROXIES, MOST OF WHICH ARE USED TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET (INTERNET) AND INTRANET (LOCAL AREA NETWORK).
Second, the function of IP proxy
1. Solve network delay and improve running speed. As a proxy server, it has the function of storing memories. When there is external information through, or when the previously requested information is updated, it will be automatically saved to the buffer, and when the user accesses the same information again, the information can be directly taken out in the buffer and transmitted to the user to improve the access speed.
2. It can be used as a firewall to improve security. Through the proxy server, users can set IP address filtering, restrict the access of the internal network to the external network, and also block IP addresses and prohibit users from accessing certain networks, thus acting as a firewall.
3. Hide IP addresses to protect personal information. Proxy types are broadly divided into three categories. Transparent proxy, universal agent, transparent proxy. High-profile proxies can hide the user's real IP address and will not be recognized as a proxy. The hidden proxy can hide the user's real IP, but it will change the request information so that the other server recognizes that we use a dynamic IP proxy. When the proxy is transparent, the real IP address is still transmitted, and the client does not know the existence of the proxy server.
4. Break through access address restrictions. Many websites restrict access to the user, using the IP address to read the user's IP address. Because there is more than one third-party proxy server, users can break through the restrictions by switching the required regional IP addresses.
3. Dynamic IP and static IP
Dynamic IP corresponds to static IP. In layman's terms, dynamic IP refers to the IP dynamically assigned by netizens when they surf the Internet. The IP used is different every time you surf the Internet. The corresponding is the static IP, which has been determined before surfing the Internet, and this IP is used every time I surf the Internet.
Dynamic IP is used to solve the problem of insufficient IP addresses. With the popularization of the Internet, the number of computers used by netizens has soared, and IP addresses are not enough, and dynamic IP technology has emerged. At the same time, not everyone is online, take the unconnected IP to those who need it, and the same way when netizens go online, they will be assigned an unused IP. With the increase in the number of Internet users, technologies such as NAT forwarding have been developed to solve the problem of insufficient IP addresses.
